Artistic Workshops

The Artistic Workshops of the Municipality of Lamia were established in 1999 in cooperation with the Union of Artists of Central Greece (SKETKE) and have one of the best places nationally in terms of public participation to its actions. In May 2002 they have need integrated in a programmed agreement in the Network of Artistic Workshops of the Ministry of Culture where 30 organized Artistic Workshops participate and cooperate in the whole country. The aim of the Workshop is to offer the chance to young and older people to obtain knowledge that will help them cultivate their artistic skills and make creative use of their free time.
