In the centre of Ypati and in the homonymous square stand the statues of Dimitrios Ainian,a fighter in the revolution of 1821, Ioannis Paparrodou,Artillery Officer who was killed in 1941 for the country, Spiros Matsoukas, a warrior in the Greek-Turkish war, patriot,ideologue and poet and Ioannis Papakyriazis, Infantry's Kernel who fell for the country, at the battle of Lahana in Macedonia.
